Kim Olson, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Candidate

On Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, Texas Agriculture Commissioner candidate Kim Olson will be joining Llano County Democrats for breakfast at the Hungry Hunter Restaurant, at 702 W. Young St. (Hwy. 29) in Llano, at 8:30am.

Olson, a rancher from Mineral Wells, is a champion of public education,entering the public education field in 2007. Kim is a retired veteran with 28 years of military service. She is part of the first generation of female pilots accumulating over 4000 hours of flying time including combat zones such as Iraq. Kim retired in 2005 with the rank of Colonel.

Kim is dedicated to influencing the production of sustainable foods, improving markets for Texas produce, and encouraging rural and urban development that improves access to healthy foods.

“Colonel Olson is born to lead, inspire, and command,” says William Sessions, former Director of the FBI and U.S. District Judge.

Olson looks forward to sharing her message with all Texans regardless of political affiliation.
